Pre-season poll ranks Notre Dame Women number one

NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- The season hasn’t started yet, but there are already high expectations for The Notre Dame Women’s Basketball team.
The Sporting News released its pre-season poll, and Muffet McGraw’s squad is ranked number one.
Last season, The Fighting Irish made a run to The National Championship Game.
Notre Dame has four starters and nine monogram winners returning, including recent World University Game gold medalists, Skylar Diggins, Natalie Novasel and Deveraux Peters.
