INDIANA. -- The Hoosier state experienced severe storms, straight-line winds, tornadoes and historic flooding starting on Aug. 11. Saturday, President Donald Trump approved Indiana Governor Mike Braun's Emergency Declaration for the state.

This authorizes the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to coordinate federal disaster relief efforts throughout the state. Direct federal assistance will be provided at 75 percent federal funding.

The following counties are included: Cass, Pulaski, Fulton, Kosciusko, LaPorte, Knox, St. Joseph, Starke, and Marshall counties.
