Private companies help clear the snow

NILES, Mich. – Private snow plow companies worked all through the night and morning plowing commercial and private properties to make your drive easier.

Many landscaping companies do snow removal for extra cash. MAAC Property Service in Niles Michigan sent out between 80 and 100 people to clear about 100 commercial locations.

Some places they plowed include the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Eddy Street Commons at Notre Dame and Heritage Square in Granger.

When a snowfall is coming they send out three different crews, a plow crew, a shovel crew and a salt crew.
