Protesters gather in opposition of Transpo changes

SOUTH BEND, Ind. --- Several South Bend residents gathered to protest against a possible deal that would eliminate some services.

Transpo recently proposed several route changes across the area including the elimination of route two at Bendix and Ardmore. They also announced possibly cutting buses along routes one, five, and thirteen.

Those at today's protest say they depend on those routes and think changes can be made to save services that they rely on.

The board has not made a final decision on those changes they are expected to vote on the proposal Monday.
