Dry and mild start to Thursday, but rain arrives this evening
Wednesday, December 27, 2023
The sun sticks with us for the rest of tonight as temperatures fall to near freezing. Expect showers to move into our area late, most likely a few hours after midnight. The rain lasts all of Thursday as temperatures hover just above the 40F mark for our daily highs and sink to the low 30s yet again overnight. Michiana dries out Friday with our cooling trend continuing, incrementally bringing our highs down to around 40 and then below freezing temps Friday night. The sun returns on Saturday with highs in the upper 30s, although later in the weekend the chance for a few flurries arrives on New Years Eve and lasts into New Years Day.
Tonight: Showers late. Low 34.
Thursday: Showers. High 42.
Friday: Overcast. High 40.
Saturday: Mostly sunny. High 39.
