It is a rainy and windy start to the work week. There are also a few thunderstorms.
Out the door this morning, you'll want all of your rain gear, as downpours are likely (but be aware, with the wind gusts, your umbrella may turn inside out). By afternoon, we could pick up 1 to 1.25" of rain.
Wind gusts 35-40 mph are also possible.
A few thunderstorms could be strong, possibly severe. The most likely impacts are damaging wind gusts and heavy rain, but there is also a non-zero chance for an isolated tornado.
Temperatures near 40 this morning will warm into the lower 50s by afternoon.
Rain will taper off late this evening, but it is still breezy overnight and into Tuesday morning.
A stray shower or two can't be ruled out Tuesday night or Wednesday.
The end of the week another round of rain/snow looks likely, along with a drop in temperatures, for Friday.
Today: Rainy and windy. Thunderstorms possible. High 52.
Tonight: Evening rain. Windy. Low 34.
Tuesday: Breezy. AM clouds; PM sun. High 45.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy. Mild. Isolated shower chance. High 58.
