Amidst several rounds of storms, some could be severe today
The next round of wet weather hits Friday night, lasting through Saturday morning. Soaking rain or more than a half inch is likely and strong wind gusts up to 40 mph are possible through Saturday afternoon. Temperatures stay above freezing, but could be cold enough for a short period of time Saturday, for wintry mix. Sunday is the pick of the weekend, fair with highs in the mid-40s. There's no significant warm-up over the next week.
