Recall on Banquet frozen chicken strips for plastic contamination

There's been a recall on frozen chicken strips due to possible foreign matter contamination.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food and Safety Inspection Service (FSIS) announced on September 2 that ConAgra Brands Inc., housed out of Marshall, MO, recalled 245,366 packages of frozen chicken strips. 

These products may be contaminated with "extraneous materials" most likely plastic.

The recall is for products produced on June 20, July 11 and July 17, 2023. 

Look for this box description: 

8.9-oz. carton containing one entree of "BANQUET CHICKEN STRIPS MEAL" with best if used by "DEC 11 2024," "JAN 01 2025," or "JAN 07 2025" and lot numbers 5009317120, 5009319220, or 5009319820 located on the side of the carton.

Products will also have the establishment number "EST-P-9" and were shipped to various retailers and sold online. 

If you have this product, do not consume it. Throw it away or return it to the place of purchase.
