BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. – RedBud off road championships started Thursday with media day.
Several of the world’s fastest riders and even local competitors will race on a dirt track this weekend.
The Managing Director Roy Janson spoke about how the event has never turned out so big at a local level.
“While the motorcycle industry has stabilized doesn’t have the growth that it used to have. The events itself continue to grow instrumentally every year. Part of that comes from the reinvestment of making them more and more spectator friendly and making them a better place for family entertainment," Janson said.
Friday will be the amateur races followed by the pro races on Saturday.
The event will take place in Buchanan. 30,000 people are expected to attend.
