Renovations complete at Bittersweet branch library

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The Bittersweet branch of the Mishawaka-Penn-Harris Public Library reopened Monday.

The space just underwent some major renovations and doors opened again just in time for the Christmas break and holiday.

One of the biggest parts of the project was adding insulation to some parts of the library to make the open spaces more comfortable.

"Some areas of the building were too hot or too cold, so we're trying to regulate the temperatures and also save on our heating and cooling costs," said Branch Manager Lisa Felix.

Felix says even more renovations are scheduled as the library gets ready to celebrate its 30-year-anniversary next year.
