Representative Jim Banks, R-Ind held a town hall meeting in Warsaw on Friday.
Residents asked Banks questions about health care and coverage of pre-existing conditions.
"When it comes to protecting pre-existing conditions, it was a major priority of our president and the House Republicans who passed several amendments to the American Health Care Act that would not just preserve protection for pre-existing conditions as they exist under Obamacare, but would strip them, many of those protections in the legislation that moves forward," Banks said.
Banks also spoke about President Trump's decision to withdraw from the Paris climate accord.
"The Paris climate change agreement you can provide me no evidence today that has made any difference there is no statistical environmental evidence that that agreement has created any positive impact for our world for climate change," Banks said.
Banks also stopped in Fort Wayne on Friday.
