BUCHANAN, Mich. -- The snow keeps falling in Buchanan and emergency responders are asking residents who live in town to help them quicken police and fire response time.
The fire and police departments are asking residents who live in the town to clear the snow from their mailbox so their address is visible.
They are also asking residents to clear the snow from fire hydrants near their homes.
"Try to clear about a 3x3 area all the way around the fire hydrant and what that does in return is gives us easier access," said Bobby Blaylock, assistant fire chief.
They say clearing the snow will help them with fast response times if there are emergencies.
