Residents of trailer park fed up with recent fires

MIDDLEBURY, Ind. -- Brian Mills was still making payments on his 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee when it was set ablaze.

"I heard a boom, and I rose up. I didn't know what it was at first," said Mills.

The fire happened around 3 on Sunday morning. Mills was sleeping when his neighbor knocked on his door to wake him up. When he came out, he found both his Jeep and part of his house on fire.

"The first thing that popped into my mind was my kids, to get my kids out of the house, “said Mills.

Mills doesn't know who or why someone keeps doing this to people living in the park. He's hoping it won't happen to him again, and is still uneasy about sleeping in his own home.

"Everybody is starting to stick together now. A lot of the older people are walking around their streets and looking in the yards to see if there's anyone suspicious."
