Rick Court named new Concord High School athletic director

ELKHART, Ind. -- Beginning this summer, Concord High School will have a new athletic director.

Concord Community Schools announced that Rick Court will assume the role. Officials say Court has over two decades of athletic leadership experience at both the high school and collegiate level.

His most recent role was the Coordinator of Strength and Performance for Greenville Public Schools in Michigan. At the collegiate level, Court held leadership roles at several programs, including in part The Ohio State University, University of Maryland, and Mississippi State University. 

In a statement, Court said the following:

I'm honored to join Concord Community Schools and become part of a community with such strong tradition and pride. Athletics have the power to bring people together and teach lifelong lessons about teamwork, discipline, leadership, and resilience. I look forward to working with our students, coaches, families, and community to continue building a culture that puts students first.

His role will officially begin July 1.
