RIGHT NOW: Section of westbound John Beers Road closed due to sinkhole

ABC 57 LINCOLN CHARTER TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- A sinkhole has caused a section of westbound lanes to be closed on John Beers Road Friday afternoon, according to Lincoln Charter Township.
Township officials say John Beers Road is closed to westbound traffic between Demorrow Road and St. Joseph Avenue until further notice.
The sinkhole is described as large, but eastbound traffic will remain open.
Motorists are asked to find an alternate route of travel until the repair can be completed.
