ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind.—Multiple Indiana counties were placed on travel advisories on Thursday as roads remained slick throughout the morning commute.
St. Joseph, Starke, Kosciusko and Fulton counties were placed on travel advisories, meaning that anyone out and about should use caution and avoid hazardous situations.
Many area school districts were placed on delays or closed altogether.
Local law enforcement agencies posted warnings to social media asking that drivers leave extra time to scrape off snow from their vehicles and drive with more caution.
