Rolling Prairie man charged with felony charges of Child Exploitation
La Porte County Jail: Trevor E. Humphrey LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. -- The La Porte County Sheriff's Office reports a 33-year-old Rolling Prairie man has been arrested and charged following a Dec. 10, 2025, Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force investigation assignment.
The suspect, Trevor E. Humphrey, has been charged with eight counts of Child Exploitation, as Level 4 Felonies, and two counts of Child Exploitation, as Level 5 Felonies.
Humphrey remains housed in the La Porte County Jail, held on a $25,000 cash-only bond through Circuit Court.
Once the assigned investigator began reviewing the information, several video files believed to be child sexual abuse material were discovered.
Authorities then applied for, received, and executed several search warrants and a subpoena to Kik, Microsoft, and Surf Internet.
The report states the information obtained determined Humphrey to be the suspect.
The investigation's findings were sent to the La Porte County Prosecutor's Office in early March. An arrest warrant was then issued,
A search warrant was executed at Humphrey’s home Wednesday morning where he was also taken into custody.
