Rollover accident sends woman to hospital

MADISON TOWNSHIP, Ind. — A woman is recovering in the hospital after a rollover accident in St. Joseph County Wednesday morning.
The accident happened around 12:30 a.m. near the intersection of S.R. 331 and Tyler Road.
According to police, the vehicle rolled several times and went airborne twice.
After investigating, police think the driver was going over 100 miles per hour.
An off duty officer got to the scene first and was able to get the door open and get the woman out of the vehicle.
The road is back open.
