Rosemont mayor offers Cubs a new home

CHICAGO --  The mayor of a nearby suburb wants the Chicago Cubs to ditch Wrigley Field and call Rosemont home.

He has even offering a 25 acre plot of land near the tollway and O’Hare runways.

Some fans think a new location could bring new fortune for the team.

"Maybe they're getting stifled in this neighborhood. I don't know if it would help from an economic standpoint," said Meg Munaretto.

Others of course disagree saying Wrigley is the home full of history for the team.

The stadium has been in downtown Chicago for a century.
