Saint Mary's College selected as "Best in the Midwest" 10 years running

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Saint Mary's College has something to celebrate.

The Princeton Review rated the college among the best colleges and universities in the Midwest.

The "Best in the Midwest" colleges are selected from 12 states: Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.

Colleges named in the regional best represent the top 25 percent of the nation's four-year colleges.

Saint Mary's has held the "Best in the Midwest" distinction every year since the Princeton Review began their top regional listings 10 years ago.

In a  press release from Saint Mary's College, President Carol Ann Mooney said, “We are very pleased to once again be included among The Princeton Review’s ‘Best in the Midwest. Our commitment to an excellent intellectual and academic experience for our students is unwavering. Our graduates are our best recruiters. Their accomplishments speak volumes about the quality of the educational experience they received here.”

Recently, the college also created a new pet policy to entice seniors to live on campus.
