Third shooting in South Bend within 24 hours leaves victim with leg wound

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The South Bend Police Department is investigating another shooting in the city after a victim arrived to an area hospital Saturday evening.

This is the third shooting in the city within 24 hours.

SBPD was notified of a 29-year-old victim who arrived to the hospital around 10:45 p.m. on Aug.3 with a non-life threatening wound to the leg.

Authorities say the incident occurred in the 1500 block of W. Kenwood.
