Search for missing firefighter continues

A California firefighter is still missing but his dog has been found.
Michael Herdman disappeared ten days ago during a camping trip with a friend and his dog Duke.
Investigators say Duke ran off into the woods and Herdman went looking for him.
It took his camping partner two days to find cell service and call for help.
Herdman is still out there, but police say that Duke is in good shape.
"Kind of an amazing story, the dog made it back. Close to 10 to 12 miles. The dog is exhausted, I saw the dog, it was passed out in the lap of Mike's sister," said Dean, a member of the rescue team.
A vigil was held for Herdman on Sunday authorities say that search crews will be scaled back to just a handful of people.
