Semi crashes into school bus with students on board

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. –- A school bus and semi crashed at State Road 2 and Quince Road in St. Joseph County Wednesday afternoon.
There were seven children on the bus at the time of the accident.
Witnesses told police the semi was headed westbound on State Road 2 when it went through the red light.
The school bus had just started to enter the intersection to turn left onto State Road 2 when the semi hit it.
None of the students, from Studebaker Elementary, were injured.
The semi driver was cited for running the red light. Police say the driver was not distracted or impaired.
