Toll Road reopens following semi crash

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind.—A semi carrying a load of plywood overturned on the Indiana Toll Road Monday morning and caused traffic delays.

The crash happened on the Toll Road around 4:37 a.m. near the Mishawaka exit, according to the Indiana State Police.

The eastbound lanes of the Toll Road were closed until 2 p.m. for the cleanup. Traffic was allowed to pass on the shoulder of the road from 8:15 a.m. until 2 p.m.

The driver of the semi was taken to a local hospital.
