The Senate is expected to approve a bill that would send more than $50-billion in aid to states devastated by Superstorm Sandy.
The house approved the bill last week.
Once the Senate passes the measure, President Obama can sign it into law.
Congress already approved $9.7 billion for flood insurance claims.
