SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Perley Fine Arts Primary Center performed its final production, Seussical the Musical, in its current building.
As part of Focus 2018, Rise Up Academy will move into Perley.
Perley will merge with Nuner Fine Arts Academy for the 2018-2019 school year.
Staff and students say the move is bittersweet.
“There's a long tradition of this building in the community. So it's very significant that this is the last children's performance in the elementary school that's been here for over 50 years.” Patricia Morton, Perley, P.E. teacher, said.
Nuner students will perform to perform at Perley Friday morning.
