ELKHART, Ind.— Elkhart Police are investigating a shooting that happened at a mobile home community on Thursday morning.
Officers were sent to the scene around 5:38 a.m. on Thursday to investigate a shooting on Valentine's Lane.
One man sustained a gunshot wound to the abdomen and was transported to Memorial Hospital.
There is no information on the victim's condition.
Homicide detectives were called to the scene to investigate but they have not released any information on the suspect.
