Shortcakes on the Blacktop returns to South Bend June 10

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The annual Shortcakes on the Blacktop fundraiser returns to downtown on June 10 for the first time since 2019.
The event, hosted by the Cathedral of Saint James, runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the church, located at 117 N. Lafayette Boulevard.
Dessert is $6 each and features homemade shortcake, fresh strawberries, ice cream, and whipped cream.
Dairy-free and gluten-free options are available.
Community members can also place pick-up and delivery pre-orders.
Call the Shortcakes Hotline at 574-707-5130 to pre-order. Pre-ordering begins on June 3.
All net proceeds from the fundraiser support St. Margaret’s House, Chiara Home, Dismas House, and direct ministry.
