UPDATE: The South Bend Police Department reports they are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash which occurred in the 3400 block of W. Washington Street around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.
It was reported that a three-wheeled motorcycle had crashed after hitting a branch in the road.
Officers arrived on scene to find the motorcyclist, now identified as 21-year-old Jahawn Horton of South Bend, who suffered severe injuries.
Horton was pronounced dead at the scene.
Horton's family has been notified.
Police say no other vehicles were involved in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
ORIGINAL: SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The South Bend Police Department responded to the report of a single vehicle motorcycle crash in the 3400 block of W Washington Street, a little after 10:30 p.m. June 3.
Police do not have any information on the victim's injuries at this time.
