ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind.-- Friday evening, Sheriff Bill Redman requested a new Judge in the Todd Rokita Lawsuit. This comes after Judge Mike Telloyan accepted his appointment as special judge on July 23. Two other judges who were appointed previously recused themselves due to conflicts of interest.
Attorney General Todd Rokita brought these charges against the Department in January, accusing St. Joseph County of upholding sanctuary city policies and not complying with ICE detainer requests.
Sheriff Bill Redman strongly refutes these claims.
