Ski resort opens because of cold November

GROVELAND TOWNSHIP. Mich. -- A Michigan ski resort is starting their season early thanks to the extra cold November temps.
The ski resort in Groveland Township says it is opening at least two weeks ahead of schedule but temps this weekend could pose a threat as they climb into the 40's.
Swiss Valley in Jones, Michigan plans on opening within the next two weeks.
