South Bend Airport’s main entrance closed May 4-6

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The main entrance to the South Bend International Airport will be closed from Tuesday, May 4 to Thursday, May 6 from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day.

Crews will be working to install new overhead signage, weather permitting, while the entrance is closed.

Traffic will proceed west on Lincolnway West past the Lexington Street roundabout, north on Moss Road, and east on Old Lincolnway West. The detour will be marked.

Mike Daigle, CEO & Executive Director of SBN, said this latest project is the final component of the airport’s parking lot expansion, which began before the pandemic and was completed last year.
