SOUTH BEND, Ind.-----
Too many pups at the South Bend Animal Resource Center, is making things "ruff". The shelter is only slated to hold 42 dogs, and they currently have 51, and more are constantly coming in. This means shelter workers, like manger Lindsey Cuellar have to get creative on where to house the animals, storing them in grooming rooms, meet and greet rooms, and even bathrooms.
Many of these furry friends have been disregarded and left behind, with only 40 of the 200 dogs brought in last month claimed, but they are still filled with love to give and ready to find their forever homes.
If you are interested in adopting, check out SBARC on facebook, visit the shelter, or click here:

All dogs are only 85 dollars and come microchipped, fixed, and up to date on vaccinations. Cats are also available for 35 dollars, and there is even a bunny for just 10.
If you are not able to take one in right now, Cuellar says there's still more to be done,
"adopt, foster, volunteer, if you cant adopt then foster for us for a week or two that way we have an extra kennel to take another one in, if you can do that volunteer, if you cant do that donate.. there's so many options to help".
