South Bend Cubs hold auditions to sing National Anthem

On Saturday February 21st, the South Bend Cubs are holding open auditions for a chance to sing the National Anthem during the 2015 baseball season.

It may be too cold to start thinking about baseball season, but believe it or not opening day is less than two months away.

Starting at 10 a.m. Saturday, all ages are invited to audition for a chance to sing the National Anthem during the 2015 season at Four Winds Field.

Auditions are free and for all ages. A legal guardian must accompany those under 18 years old.

Individuals or groups are invited to audition and will need to perform a live a cappella version of the National Anthem.

Auditions will take place in the Pepsi Stadium Club, formerly the Upper Deck.

The only requirement will be filling out an audition form in advance.

There is no appointment necessary and performers will audition in the order in which they arrive. The auditions end at 1 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
