South Bend facing lawsuit by AUSCS

SOUTH BEND, Ind.-The city of South Bend is facing a lawsuit over the new St. Joseph's High School, and today a judge is set to preside over the case.

Americans United for Separation of Church and State filed a lawsuit a couple of weeks ago. The group is asking a federal judge to block the city from using tax dollars to buy a Family Dollar store. The plan is to transfer the property to a new catholic school. The group claims the purchase violates the constitution.
