SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Salvation Army needs your help.
They are looking for local generosity to help with the critical food pantry shortage.
There has been a severe shortage of food donations over the summer months, so the Salvation Army and Kroc center are asking everyone to pitch in.
If you'd like to help, you can drop off non-perishable food items at the Kroc Center.
So far, this year, nearly 3,400 South Bend area families have received food assistance.
