Santa sparks holiday joy at two First Fridays
SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The City of South Bend and Major James Mueller proclaimed June 30 as Jaden Ivey and Blake Wesley Day in honor of the men’s first-round draft picks in the 2022 NBA Draft.
Ivey was selected No. 5 by the Detroit Pistons and Wesley was selected No. 25 by the San Antonio Spurs.
Ivey played at Marian High School before playing two seasons at Purdue University.
Wesley played at Riley High School before playing one season at the University of Notre Dame.
