South Bend PD recording scandal deposition extended

SOUTH BEND — The deposition deadline in the South Bend Police recording scandal has been extended.
The original deadline for the deposition was scheduled for June 1.
Former communications director Karen Depaepe's deposition still needs to be completed.
Lawyers are battling over the extent of her testimony. Some attorneys also want the depositions to be sealed.
