South Bend Police asking for public’s help in identifying vehicle involved in drive-by shooting

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The South Bend Police Department is looking to identify a vehicle involved in a drive-by shooting that happened on February 26.

Michiana Crime Stoppers posted a video of the shooting on their Facebook page.

The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. in the 1300 block of Mishawaka Avenue.

In the video, a silver vehicle is seen driving near a black vehicle. As the vehicles get close, the passenger in the silver vehicle allegedly shoots at the driver in the black vehicle, reports said.

The driver of the black vehicle was hit but sustained non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.
