South Bend Police looking for missing teen

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – South Bend police are searching for Alana Vargas, a missing 16-year-old girl.
Vargas ran away from home on Thursday night, and there are concerns with some safety, according to officers.
She was last seen near the 1900 block of East Irvington Avenue.
She is five feet four inches, 200 pounds and has brown, shoulder-length hair. She was last seen wearing red and black pajama pants, a black hooded sweatshirt and was carrying three backpacks.
Officers say that she could be headed toward Michigan.
