SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Local businesses are excited for the annual Bike the Bend race. It's a 30 mile course through South Bend and Mishawaka and it's known to bring a lot of money to the local economy.
Usually, Sunday's aren't the busiest of days for restaurants but since the race is tomorrow, places like The Emporium and O'Rourke's aren't too worried about it.
“It’s always fun to have people from the community join in for events like that, “ says Teagan Lawson, manager of O'Rourkes.
“I feel like it’s going to be great for downtown South Bend, it’ll bring it back to life again!” says Lauren Unger, Assistant Manager for The Emporium.
