SOUTH BEND, Ind.--- A South Bend woman had a bullet fly through her home on Saturday. The incident happened on Erksine Avneue.
"It was shocking and it angers me," said Araquel Bloss, the homeowner. "My neighbors have two children as well and I have a baby here so it was very careless."
The bullet entered through the side of Bloss's home before ricocheting of her front door and landing on the floor. Bloss says this incident highlights conversations that need to had about gun safety.
"One second making a mistake can change your entire life," said Bloss. "If you take a life, you’re taking your own either through a lifetime of guilt, imprisonment, or retaliation. I hope everyone rethinks how they handle these very dangerous weapons."
