Recap of Thursday night’s storms
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The City of South Bend of Sustainability and Forestry Division, United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Shirley Heinze Land Trust, IUSB, and enFocus have organized to host Coffee and Donuts with the Forest Service event.
The event will take place on Sept. 28 at 10:30 a.m. in the Howard Park Event Center.
This event will discuss the city's urban forestry plans and include introductions from the City's Office Sustainability and Forestry Division, a speech from USDA UCF Administrator Drew Hart, and an overview of the city's urban forestry goals and plans.
The discuss will conclude with a Q and A panel with experts and local partners.
The event will be open to the public and offer coffee and donuts to all.
