SOUTH HAVEN, Mich. -- South Haven’s sesquicentennial trail will open to the public on July 15.
A ribbon cutting ceremony will mark the grand opening at Stanley Johnston park from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Candy and popcorn will be available for those who attend.
The trail was initially proposed in 2019 as a way of commemorating the 150th anniversary of South Haven.
Officials mark it as a collaboration of the historical association of the city and Pure Michigan trails.
