South Shore Line suspends travel between South Bend and Michigan City for track obstruction

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The South Shore Line's train service is currently suspended between South Bend International Airport and Michigan City due to an obstruction on the tracks.

At around 5:22 a.m., Monday, South Shore officials halted service for fallen trees on the tracks.

Officials say Weekday Westbound Lakeshore trains #22 and #24 along with Weekday Eastbound Lakeshore train #7 will run as scheduled from Michigan City to Chicago.
