South Shore train stopped east of Miller Station due to pedestrian fatality

LAKE COUNTY, Ind. -- Westbound train 22 is delayed for approximately two hours  following a pedestrian fatality discovered Tuesday evening east of Miller Station.

The service update was issued at 9.52 p.m. on Oct. 23.

Trains 121 and 123 traveling eastbound are on a 45 minute delay.

Officials are on scene awaiting the coroner.

No reports of any additional injuries.

The cause of death is under investigation.
