Special Prayer Service at Sikh Gurdwara

MISHAWAKA, Ind.-- A special prayer service was held today to remember the six people who lost their lives in Wisconsin last week.

Hundreds gathered at the Sikh Gurdwara or Place of Worship, in Mishawaka to pay their respects.

People from all over Michiana took part in the service, and those who attended say the last week has tested their faith.

"There was a lot of sadness, of course. But instead of focusing on the sadness part of it, the grieving, we try to focus on the postive aspects," said Tina Rekhi.

Members of the Gurdwara say the support they recieved today was both heartwarming and inspiring.
