ST. JOSEPH, Mich. – St. Joseph’s head honcho is making some concessions so his employees can get a raise!
Starting July 1, 2012, City Manager Frank Walsh will pay more for his health insurance and eliminate his transportation allowance.
That's so non-union city employees can have a one-percent pay hike!
Walsh said this will be their first raise in two years.
When we asked him why he did it, he simply said -- "It's the right thing to do."
