ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind.— St. Joseph County Police Department’s K-9 Bullet has received a new protective vest.

The police department received the bullet and stab protective vest thanks to a charitable donation from Vested Interest in K-9s.

K-9 Bullet’s vest was sponsored by a fundraiser hosted by Linda Lagodney of Holy Family Parish. The vest is embroidered with the words “Gifted by Holy Family School 2021.”

Vested Interest in K-9s is a non-profit that was established in 2009. The organization provides bullet and stab protective vests and other assistance to dogs in law enforcement.
