Stamp Out Hunger totals are in: 128,696 pounds of food collected

ST. JOSEPH CO., Ind. -- The totals are back for the 'Stamp Out Hunger' food drive.

Mail carriers went door-to-door on Saturday, gathering food for area pantries.

The U.S. Postal Service nearly collected 129,000 pounds in South Bend, Mishawaka, and Granger.

That shattered last year's record by 32,000 pounds.

This was the 20th year for the 'Stamp Out Hunger' event.
